Join us every Friday evening for friendly competition and plenty of laughs. Whether you're a seasoned dart player or trying it for the first time, everyone is welcome to participate.

Saturday Horseshoes - Every Saturday • 1:00 PM • Horseshoe Pits
One of Point of Mara's favourite traditions! Come toss some horseshoes, meet fellow campers, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon outdoors.

Saturday Morning Walk Club - Every Saturday • 8:00 AM • Meet at the Main Entrance
Start your weekend with a refreshing walk down Lakeshore Drive. Enjoy the fresh air, beautiful scenery, and great conversation with fellow campers.

SATURDAY, JUNE 20:
Docks In • 9:00 AM • Main Beach Summer officially begins when the docks go in! Join us as we launch our newly refurbished cedar dock into the lake. Sunday 9:00am is the rain date. We appreciate all of the volunteers who help make this happen. Drinks will be provided for everyone lending a hand.
Mara Minis Duck Derby • 11:30 AM • Beach Area Decorate your very own racing duck and then watch it compete in the Point of Mara Duck Derby! Children will customize their ducks before sending them off on an exciting race down the river from the horseshoe pits toward the marina finish line. Spectators are encouraged to line the marina riverbank and cheer on their favourite duck. Parental Supervision is required for all children.
Sauna Saturday • 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Sauna behind office Relax, recharge, and unwind in our wood-burning cedar sauna. Whether you're looking to soothe tired muscles or simply enjoy a peaceful afternoon, Sauna Saturday is the perfect way to do so.

SATURDAY, JUNE 27
Welcome Wine & Cheese Luau • 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM • Main Beach Aloha and welcome back to another incredible summer at Point of Mara! Join us at the beach for our Welcome Wine & Cheese Luau as we celebrate the beginning of another camping season. Wear your favourite Hawaiian-inspired attire—think florals, tropical prints, leis, and beachwear. Wine, cheese, leis, and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.

SATURDAY, JULY 4
Bracelet Beading Workshop • 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM • Debbie Green's Site (Lakeside 16) Get creative and design your own unique bracelets during this fun and relaxing beading workshop. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, this activity is a wonderful opportunity to socialize, learn new techniques, and create a keepsake to remember your summer at Point of Mara.
Passport Potluck • 5:00 PM • The Playground Take your tastebuds on a trip around the world! Bring a favourite dish inspired by a country of your choice and join fellow campers for an international feast celebrating the many cultures, flavours, and traditions that make our community special. Flags, cultural attire, and themed decorations are encouraged.
Karaoke Night • 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM • Recreation Hall Adults only. Let your inner superstar shine! Whether you're a seasoned performer or simply enjoy cheering on friends, Karaoke Night promises plenty of music, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Mara Minis: Candy Kabob Creations • 11:00 AM • Playground Calling all sweet tooths! Join Stacey for a fun-filled morning of creativity as Mara Minis build their own delicious candy kabobs using a variety of colourful treats. It's the perfect combination of crafting and snacking.
Ramara Classic Car Show • 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM • Lagoon City Marina Take a short trip and enjoy one of the area's most popular summer events. Featuring hundreds of classic vehicles, vendor displays, a silent auction, and plenty of family-friendly entertainment, the Ramara Classic Car Show is a local tradition you won't want to miss.
Mara Minis: Movie Night • 7:00 PM • Recreation Hall Grab your favourite blanket, pillow, and stuffed animal and settle in for a cozy movie night with friends. Popcorn, laughter, and a family-friendly film make for the perfect evening.

SATURDAY, JULY 18
Pancakes & Pajamas Breakfast • 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM • The Playground Start your morning in comfort and style! Come dressed in your favourite pajamas and enjoy a delicious homemade pancake breakfast served with Point of Mara maple syrup harvested from our very own maple trees. Coffee, tea, juice, and water will be available. A People's Choice Award will be presented for the best pajamas!
Mara Minis: Teddy Bear Picnic & Storytime 9:30 AM • The Playground Bring your favourite teddy bear or stuffed animal and join Kylie for a special storytime event featuring a reading of her very own book “What Matters Most”. Relax in the shade, enjoy a great story, and spend a magical morning with fellow Mara Minis.
Mara Minis Talent Show • 11:00 AM • Recreation Hall Do you sing, dance, juggle, tell jokes, or have another special talent? Take the stage and show off your skills during our annual Mara Minis Talent Show. Prizes will be awarded, but the real reward is having fun and sharing your talents with friends and family.
Bingo Night • 7:30 PM • Recreation Hall An evening of excitement, prizes, and friendly competition. Bring your lucky charm and join us for one of Point of Mara's favourite traditions.

SATURDAY, JULY 25
Beach Olympics • 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM • Beach Area Get ready for an afternoon of water-filled fun! Mara Minis will compete in a variety of exciting beach challenges including water balloon tosses, sandcastle contests, slip-and-slide races, waterslides, and more. Participants should come dressed to get wet and have fun. Parental supervision is required for all children participating in water activities.
Watermelon Football • 3:00 PM • Beach Area All ages are welcome. One of the funniest events of the summer! Teams will battle it out in the lake using a slippery watermelon as the football. Expect lots of laughs, plenty of splashes, and some very creative game strategies.
Euchre Tournament • 7:00 PM • Recreation Hall Join fellow card players for an evening of friendly competition. Whether you're an experienced Euchre player or simply enjoy a good game, this adults-only tournament is always a favourite. Please register in advance with Mary Lou (Lot 10 or text 647-383-8773) or at the office so teams can be organized.

SATURDAY AUGUST 1:
FAMILY DAY & CAMPER APPRECIATION WEEKEND Family Day Races & Games • 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM • The Playground One of the biggest afternoons of the season! Join us for an exciting lineup of relay races, team challenges, and family-friendly competitions. Participants will be assigned teams and compete for prizes, trophies, and bragging rights. All ages welcome!
Face Painting, Inflatables & Bouncy Castles • 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The park transforms into a giant playground filled with inflatables & face painting
Camper Appreciation BBQ & Live Music • Saturday • 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Join us as we celebrate our amazing campers with a community BBQ (pulled pork, brisket & salads), live entertainment, and an evening of great food and friendship. Advance tickets must be purchased by July 26 to assist with meal planning. Guests are welcome. Tickets $10 adults and $5 (children 2 - 12 yrs old).

SUNDAY AUGUST 2
Pitch & Sip: Ladies Horseshoes & Mimosas • 10:00 AM Ladies, this one's for you! Join Mary Lou for a relaxed morning of horseshoes, laughter, and mimosas. Whether you're a seasoned player or have never thrown a horseshoe before, everyone is welcome. A perfect opportunity to meet fellow campers and learn a new skill.

Mara Minis Great Resort Scavenger Hunt • 2:00 PM Adventure awaits! Join the Mara Minis for an exciting scavenger hunt that will take young explorers on a journey throughout Point of Mara RV Resort. Follow clues, solve challenges, and discover hidden treasures as you search for items scattered around the resort. Meet at the office to receive your first clue and prepare for an afternoon of fun, teamwork, and adventure.
Annual Fireworks Spectacular • Sunday • Dusk • Beach Area Gather with family and friends at the beach as we light up the night sky with our annual fireworks display. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and favourite people for an unforgettable evening by the lake. Donations to help support and enhance our fireworks display are always appreciated and may be dropped off at the office. For everyone's safety, personal fireworks are not permitted. The only fireworks display will be the official Point of Mara show.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 8

Mara Minis: Paint & Create with Isabelle • 10:00 AM • Recreation Hall Young artists are invited to join local artist Isabelle for a fun and creative painting workshop. Children will learn basic painting techniques while creating their own colourful masterpiece to take home. Register with office in advance to confirm attendance. Cost TBA.

Cornhole Tournament • 1:00 PM • Behind the Office on the Lake Think you've got the perfect toss? Join fellow campers for an afternoon of friendly competition in our annual Cornhole Tournament. Whether you're a seasoned player or trying the game for the first time, everyone is welcome. Email Stacey ahead of time to register scunnington@icloud.com and check in at 12:45 PM. Prizes and bragging rights await the top teams!

Evening Paint Night with Isabelle • 7:00 PM • Recreation Hall Unwind with an evening of creativity and relaxation. Join Isabelle for a guided painting session designed specifically for adults. Whether you're an experienced artist or have never picked up a paintbrush before, you'll leave with a beautiful keepsake and a memorable evening shared with friends. Light refreshments will be provided. Register with office in advance to confirm attendance. Cost TBA.

Mara Minis are invited to sing their favourite songs, play exciting games, and spend time with friends during this high-energy kids' event. No singing experience required—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to have fun.

Community Potluck • 5:00 PM • Playground Area One of the best ways to bring people together is through great food. Bring your favourite dish to share and join fellow campers. Whether it's a family recipe or a new favourite, everyone is encouraged to contribute.

Adult Karaoke Night • 8:00 PM • Recreation Hall Join Trish and Pete for an adults-only evening of music and entertainment. Whether you're taking centre stage or cheering from the audience, Karaoke Night is always one of the most entertaining evenings of the season.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 29
Family Outdoor Movie Night • Dusk (Approximately 8:00 PM) • Playground Area Experience the magic of movies under the stars. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, pillows, and favourite movie snacks as we transform the playground into an outdoor theatre featuring our giant inflatable movie screen. It's the perfect way to enjoy a late-summer evening with family and friends.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16
Ramara Chamber Golf Tournament. Join fellow Point of Mara campers for a day on the links at one of our favourite local events. We're currently looking to form several teams to represent Point of Mara in this annual tournament. Please contact the office if you'd like to participate.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19
Beaverton Fair & Fashion Show • 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Beaverton Fairgrounds Support our Point of Mara ladies as they take the stage in the Beaverton Fair Fashion Show featuring clothing from a local Beaverton consignment boutique. Campers are encouraged to attend the fair, enjoy the festivities, and cheer on our very own models. Anyone interested in participating in the fashion show can contact Jen (Site 34 or text 226-346-0072) for more information.

Sauna Saturday • 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM Another opportunity to relax and enjoy the warmth and comfort of our cedar sauna.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
Floral Design Workshop with Ursula • 2:00 PM • Recreation Hall Join Ursula from The Sunflower Farm. Using beautiful locally grown flowers from her gardens in Beaverton, Ursula will guide participants through the creation of stunning floral arrangements to take home and enjoy. $25.00 per person, includes mason jar, fresh flowers including Sunflowers. Bring your favorite appetizer. Beverages supplied. Register with the office in advance to confirm your spot.

Halloween in September • Dusk • Throughout the Resort Get ready for one of the most fun weekends of the season! Decorate your sites, dress up in your favourite costumes, and join us for an evening of trick-or-treating throughout the resort Prizes will be awarded for: 🎃 Best Adult Costume 🎃 Best Child Costume 🎃 Best Decorated Site

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10
Thanksgiving Dinner & Dance: 5pm Recreation Hall Join us as we celebrate another incredible season at Point of Mara RV Resort. Enjoy a delicious turkey dinner, DJ, dancing, and the company of friends and neighbours as we reflect on the memories made throughout the summer. This annual tradition is the perfect way to say farewell to the 2026 season and celebrate the community that makes Point of Mara so special. Advance tickets are available through the office and must be purchased by October 3. We look forward to celebrating with you!
